This is a video of gastric peroral endoscopic myotomy (G-POEM) at the level of the gastric pyloris. This case was performed for gastric outlet obstruction secondary to vagal nerve injury as a result of a cardiac procedure. The video exemplifies the difficulty in performing this endoscopic surgery when compared to peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM). We review the steps and the outcome of the case. We have also submitted a paper abstract on the topic of G-POEM compared to POEM and laparoscopic pyloric myotomy in regard to safety, efficacy, and feasibility.
