Lynette Mee Ann Loo, Davide Lomanto, Eva Lourdes E Sta. Clara. National University Hospital

This is video of  a case report of a appendix within the femoral ring, which is also termed as De Garengeot's hernia. This is a rare phenomenon which was first described in 1731 by Rene Jacques Croisssant de Garengeot. Only 1% of femoral hernias would contain the appendix. This type of hernia is quite difficult to diagnose preoperatively.
