Job Description
Hospital is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon with Bariatric Surgery experience to join an established hospital employed practice in southern West Virginia. The hospital is the only Level III trauma center in the region with over 50,000 ED visits annually. The ideal candidate will perform a full spectrum of bread and butter general surgery including minimally invasive procedures. With the da Vinci Robot available onsite there’s an additional opportunity to perform advanced procedures including trauma, and bariatrics. With two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, there’s also an ability to incorporate wound care if desired. Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains the community is the largest town in southern West Virginia and only 1 hour from Charleston.
