Tulane University School of Medicine invites applications and nominations for Division Chief of Gastroenterology. With over 13 clinical and research faculty, the Division has a strong record of achievement in research, patient care and teaching. The Division’s clinical faculty includes individuals with expertise in general gastroenterology, hepatology (especially liver transplant), advanced therapeutic endoscopy, neurogastroenterology/motility, and colorectal cancer genetics.
Tulane SOM seeks an accomplished academician and clinician with an M.D. from an accredited medical school, current board certification in gastroenterology, eligible for licensure in Louisiana, and academic qualifications for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Candidates must have experience in developing and leading clinical programs, a strong program in clinical or laboratory-based research, prior administrative experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
As a University employed faculty member, you will receive a negotiable salary commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package, and relocation allowance.
