Physician – General Surgeon – Bariatric Subspecialty (Bellevue, Lynnwood & Seattle WA)

Job Description

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a BE/BC General Surgeon with a Bariatric Surgery subspecialty to join our team.

Position highlights
•Be part of a General Surgery team that has been designated by Healthgrades as one of the Best 100 Hospitals for General Surgery for five consecutive years (2013-2017)
•Expand a thriving General Surgery practice to our Regional Medical Centers both on the North end of Seattle potentially the Eastside.
•Expanding Bariatric Surgery Practice with strong outcomes and center of excellence designation in 2006
•Two to three days of Seattle OR time. In the future, potential for OR time in Bellevue as well.

Qualifications:
•BE/BC General Surgeon
•Fellowship or advanced training in Bariatric Surgery
•At least 1-5+ years of experience preferred
•Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
•Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
