Northwell Health is seeking a BC/BE MIS/Robotic Colorectal Surgeon to join Staten Island University Hospital, a teaching hospital of the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Preference will be given to surgeons with fellowship training and an interest in anorectal pathology. You will be part of an active multispecialty General Surgery faculty practice. Teaching opportunities include working with General Surgery residents and medical students. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, endoscopic skills, and an interest in surgical education.
The Staten Island University Department of Surgery has an ACGME accredited training program in General Surgery, as well as multiple subspecialty accredited fellowship programs, including: vascular surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Academic programs also include an educational program for medical students from the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, as well as SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.
