The Division of General and GI Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible academic surgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive laparoscopic and bariatric surgery to join our established group.
The successful candidate will have a strong academic record as reflected in their publications and funding record. Dedicated research time will be provided with goal of achieving external funding. The research ideally will contribute to ongoing department initiatives.
Appointment as Instructor or Assistant Professor level at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD/PhD and must demonstrate professional, academic and teaching skills in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. The candidate should be eligible for, and maintain, full medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
