Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine Department of Surgery is seeking a General Surgeon to join its team at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (GMH). The candidate will have successfully completed an accredited General Surgery program and will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. The primary focus is to expand a robust general surgery practice already in place. Interest in minimally invasive techniques is preferred; fellowship in MIS is not required.
Based in the western suburbs of Chicago, all three hospitals, including the VA at Hines, provide care for over 1 million residents. The heart of the medical center campus, Loyola University Hospital, is a 570 licensed bed facility. It houses an American College of Surgeons verified Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine and the Loyola Center for Health & Fitness.
