Job Description

The Department of Surgery, Section of Gastrointestinal, Bariatric Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking an academically oriented and qualified surgeon to join our faculty. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital and our offsite Clinics. We are seeking candidates with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the commitment to make important contributions to the field of Bariatric Surgery.

Qualified candidates will have a strong record of clinical excellence with accomplishments in basic or clinical research, a strong commitment to surgical education and teaching, and an interest and expertise in Bariatric Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Hernia Repair, and Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction. Candidates should have completed a Minimally Invasive and/or Bariatric Fellowship, and should be BC/BE in General Surgery.
