The Department of General Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) Lubbock, TX is seeking a Bariatric/MIS/ Robotic General Surgeon. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an established, expanding MBSAQIP accredited comprehensive center with opportunities and institutional support for basic, translational or clinical research and large clinical volume.
Details of this practice include:
• 90% Clinical; 10% Teaching/Research
• Call: Minimal, primary call responsibility taken by acute care surgery division
• Procedures: Bariatric procedures (Gastric sleeve, bypass, revisional etc.), plus MIS General Surgery, upper GI/ minimally invasive surgery/ hernias/ endoscopy
Our faculty are actively involved in the training of medical students and general surgery residents and the selected candidate is expected to be an active participant in our training programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
• Valid TX license (or eligible to receive)
• BC in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Bariatrics/ MIS
