SUMMARY

Surgical Associates, SC., an 18-surgery multispecialty private practice surgical group in Central Wisconsin, is seeking candidates for a clinical Minimally Invasive Surgery position. Surgical Associates is comprised of surgeons that sub specialize in vascular, trauma, hepatobiliary, surgical oncology, bariatric, breast, and general surgery.  Surgical Associates provides surgical care at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and outpatient at Pine Ridge Surgery Center.  Surgical Associates recently opened our second Wausau office which is the home to our Elevé Medspa, a division of Surgical Associates.  We have recently become a Center of Excellence in Hernia Repair.

Our patients come from a 13-county region throughout Northcentral Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.  With the growth of our practice and an upcoming retirement, we are now in need of a fellowship trained, Minimally Invasive Surgeon.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Board Eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery.
• Demonstrate skills in Advanced Laparoscopic or Robotic General, Abdominal, and Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Formal Fellowship Training through Fellowship Council accredited fellowship is preferred.
• Training in Bariatric Surgery is required.
• Candidate will also have the opportunity to work with General Surgical Residents and Medical Students.
