Stony Brook Medicine is seeking an experienced board-certified otolaryngology leader to serve as Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Division. This is a full-time academic position at the Associate or Full Professor level for an individual interested in both guiding the ENT-HNS Division to become a nationally recognized program as well as participating in active clinical practice. The Division of Otolaryngology at Stony Brook Medicine is a well-established and respected program, staffed by a very active, dedicated and enthusiastic group of attendings covering all aspects of the specialty. There is an ACGME accredited ENT residency program dedicated to the teaching of residents and all members of the Stony Brook University community in all ENT-HNS practice areas.

As the only academic, tertiary care center for well over 1.5 million individuals in Suffolk County, we care for a large and varied patient population. The opportunity for building the Division in all areas of practice is exceptional. Development of a strong and productive academic research program is strongly encouraged by the University and supported by our being a part of one of New York State's flagship Universities with established connections to local research centers (including Brookhaven National Laboratory), the Stony Brook Cancer Center, excellent graduate and undergraduate programs as well as full time staff in all specialties, offering unlimited opportunities for collegial interaction. As part of the Department of Surgery, the Division enjoys strong support for growth and development.
