Mucocele of Appendix maybe an incidental finding in CT scans for any other reasons misinterpreted as large LN, GIST, sarcoma, etc. Laparoscopy is diagnostic and therapeutic tool.

Amyand´s hernia

Amyand´s hernia is described as the hernia containing the appendix inflamed through an inguinal hernia defect. It is a rare disease and diagnosis is usually made during the perioperative because in most cases are mistaken for incarcerated inguinal hernia.

Dividing the mesoappendix

The mesoappendix is divided serially with clips, ligatures, or other hemostatic devices. Both the endoscopic stapler and the ultrasonic scalpel may also be used for this purpose.
