Of 2015 annual meeting attendees interested in the HPB/Solid Organ learning theme, 16.7% (n=34) wanted to improve their approach to the Critical View of Safety before dividing any structures during cholecystectomy.

Of 2015 annual meeting attendees interested in the HPB/Solid Organ learning theme,12.3% (n=25) wanted to increase their ability to recognize the importance of biliary inflammatory disease in increasing the hazards of surgery, and select appropriate procedures to be performed at appropriate phases of the disease process based on timing and clinical indicators. At three-month follow-up, 10% of those responding (n=10) reported inability to fully implement the intended practice change.

Of 2015 annual meeting attendees interested in the HPB/Solid Organ learning theme, 8.8% (n=18) wanted to improve their ability to perform laparoscopic common bile duct exploration. At three-month follow-up, 33.5% of those responding (n=6) reported inability to fully implement the intended practice change.
