Of 2017 annual meeting attendees interested in the Academic/Education learning theme, 12.7% (n=40) wanted to increase the incorporation of technology into surgical education in new and innovative ways.

Of 2017 annual meeting attendees interested in the Academic/Education learning theme, 11.1% (n=35) wanted to increase their understanding of how trainees acquire and retain new skills. At three-month follow-up, 10% of those responding (n=1) reported inability to fully implement the intended practice change.

Of 2017 annual meeting attendees interested in the Academic/Education learning theme, 10.5% (n=33) wanted to improve their ability to compare and contrast proficiency-driven curricula for surgical education.  At three-month follow-up, 14% of those responding (n=1) reported inability to fully implement the intended practice change.
