SMART Enhanced Recovery Implementation Program

Thank you for your interest in the SAGES SMART Enhanced Recovery Program!

Studies confirm that the enhanced recovery approach decreases complications, length of hospital stay and costs, particularly when coupled with minimally invasive techniques. The SMART Implementation Program is a wonderful opportunity to get your team’s and institution’s ERAS program off the ground.

The Program

Geared towards those in the early stages of ERAS adoption, the program includes online mentoring and discussion as well as a course, “SMART Enhanced Recovery – Beyond Colorectal,” and workshop “SMART Course for the Team.”

The course and workshop will be held on March 23, 2017 at the SAGES meeting in Houston, Texas. The online engagement will begin in early March via a closed Facebook Group and continue after the SAGES meeting.

To Join

In order to join, at least one member of the surgical team must be registered for and attend the SAGES 2017 Meeting. Information on meeting and Facebook registration will be sent once you have submitted your enrollment information below.
