2020 SAGES Flexible Endoscopy Course for Fellows

Location: Buffalo University, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Buffalo, NY
The non-CME course includes a didactic and hands-on learning lab. At the end of the course, surgical fellows will become familiar with GI endoscopes, towers and the instruments used for endoscopic surgery. Fellows will also be able to identify the most common types of GI pathology and options for management.
Registration will be open Summer 2020
Registration: This course is open only to 1st or 2nd year fellows. Registration is limited to the first 60 registrants. Priority registration will be given to SAGES Candidate Members. You may register two fellows per program for any scheduled course. Please note that attendees will be charged $100 fee. This will be refunded after the full completion of the course. Participants are responsible for their transportation to and from the airport and hotel.
Hotel/meals: Hotel rooms will be provided for the nights of Thursday and Friday. Fellows will be sharing a room with one other fellow. Rooms will be assigned on an ad hoc basis. If a room is required for Saturday night or Sunday night, it will be provided at the participant’s expense. Breakfast, lunch & dinner on Friday, and breakfast & lunch on Saturday, are included in the program. SAGES will provide shuttle transportation to Buffalo Niagara International Airport at 2:00PM on Saturday. (Note: All early departure transportation will be the responsibility of the individual fellow)
Travel: Air travel to and from Buffalo is the responsibility of the participant. The program will conclude at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Do not make your travel plans prior to receiving an acceptance letter to the course from SAGES office.
