really nice video that highlights important aspects of dissection

Great video. I agree its tack-mania. I still use two tacks on Cooper's, but absorbable ones.

By Thomas Eustis

Nice dissection. It looks like an older version of the space maker balloon. What brand of mesh is he using?

By Peter Lydon

great video. Tack fixation is rarely needed for the TEP repair.

The commentary makes the work more interesting and I wish all sages videos will have similar narration. Good work.

Excellent video supplemented with good descriptive commentary. I agree with Steven that it can be done with lesser or no tacks.

By Steven Schwaitzberg

This is a timeless classic - great video A few points: The are aternative ways to place trocars such as laterally. Most surgeons do not use as many tacks in the Cooper's ligament. New data may suggest that any tacks or staples may not be necessary . Most of these dissection can be done with no cautery

The author's technique outstanding. This video is an invaluable teaching tool for those learning TEP and experienced surgeons aiming to refine their technique.
