From Diagnosis to Treatment in Rectal Cancer in 2015: A Real Patient

AIS Channel, the leading online platform for colorectal and bariatric surgery, will be holding its Winter Event, “From Diagnosis to Treatment in Rectal Cancer in 2015: A Real Patient”, on 18th December at 3pm (UTC+01). The event can be viewed online at no cost from anywhere in the world, on any device with an Internet connection.

Rectal cancer is a prevalent pathology that requires coordinated and multidisciplinary work. Surgeons, pathologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiotherapists, and radiologists should combine efforts to follow the best strategies and provide tailored therapies for rectal cancer patients to achieve the best results.

A board of world experts – including Mariana Berho, Jaap Bonjer, Antoni Castells, Robert Glynne-Jones, Bill Heald, Joep Knol, Antonio M. Lacy, Philip Quirke, Patricia Sylla, and Steven D. Wexner – will meet to share their experience globally. They will give their point of view on treatment of a real rectal cancer patient from diagnosis to treatment.

The event will include expert presentations as well as the discussion of the live surgery of a rectal cancer patient to be performed by Dr Lacy and his team. The audience will have the opportunity to interact with the experts via live chat.
