SAGES Registration & Hotel Reservation Instructions
- The quickest, easiest way to register for the SAGES meeting and secure hotel accommodations is on-line.
- To register by paper, please complete the Hotel form to secure hotel accommodations, and the registration forms.
- Don’t forget to register for tours for your spouse or guest!
Hotel Reservation Cut-off Date: March 1, 2004
Please book your hotel rooms within the SAGES Hotel Blocks, using the SAGES Registrar! Hotels will not accept direct reservations!
How to make a hotel reservation:
1) Reservations prior to the Cut-Off Date:
Please reserve a room on-line or complete the attached Hotel form, and return
it to the SAGES Registrar. You may copy the form for multiple reservations.
A separate form must be completed for each room reserved. You may mail or
fax the form to the SAGES Registrar. You must include a credit card number
to guarantee your room. If you do not, the hotel will request a check for
one night’s room & tax deposit upon receipt of your confirmation
slip.
2) Reservations after the Cut-Off Date:
After the Cut-Off Date, you may still be able to secure reservations through
the SAGES Registrar. Try them first. If they are not able to secure accommodations
for you, they will instruct you to the contact the hotels directly. After
March 22, 2004, the Registrar will no longer accept any reservations, and
you must contact the hotels directly.
3) Changes and Cancellations:
Please send any changes and/or cancellations to the SAGES Registrar. After
the Cut-Off Date, they may direct you to contact the hotels directly. After
March 22, you must contact the hotels directly. Cancellation of hotel reservations
made less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival will result in a
one-night room and tax charge to your credit card.
4) Suites:
If you wish to reserve a suite, please check the appropriate box on the Housing
Form. The Registrar will contact you with availability and prices.
5) Shuttles:
Shuttle service to and from the Convention Center is available for the Marriott,
Hyatt and Westin Hotels. The Holiday Inn is within walking distance. Shuttles
are also provided from all hotels to social events not within walking distance.
