SAGES continues to strive at being at the forefront of technological innovations in surgery. The 2000 Learning Center presents the latest suturing welding from Axya and the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) training tool. FLS is an interactive, multimedia CD-Rom containing didactics on the basics of laparoscopy coupled with a manual skills assessment trainer box.
The Learning Center hands-on stations will also allow visitors to learn and practice a variety of minimally-invasive skills and procedures with experts in the technique.
