Objective of the study/technique: Video case study to demonstrate the feasibility of conducting a single port access technique to complete an adjustable gastric banding procedure

Description of the method: Clinical procedure is performed that demonstrates the technique necessary to successfully complete an adjustable gastric band placement through a single port placed at the umbilicus. Patient is a 43 yo female BMI 41 with Morbid Obesity, Hypertension, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Preliminary results if available: The video demonstrates the feasibility of conducting this procedure.

Conclusions/Expectations: The single port access technique through the umbilicus is a feasible approach for the placement of an adjustable gastric band. The completed procedure yields a desirable cosmetic result with no visible scar.
