Robotic-assisted Re-do gastrojejunostomy for a giant ulcer

Gastric ulcer after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass is a challenging situation that bariatric surgeons face. A revisional procedure is indicated when medical treatments fail to improve symptoms. A minimally invasive approach is always worth the attempt. Robotic system allows for an accurate and fine dissection, with precise reconstruction of the gastrojejunostomy, even in a technically challeging cases such as a revisional surgery.
