This video presents a case report of a repair of a right sided diaphragmatic hernia in a 49 year old female.  She presented with right flank pain for several days which first developed after sexual intercourse. CT revealed a large right sided diaphragmatic hernia containing a moderate amount of the patient's colon.  Laparoscopic repair was performed by closing the diaphragmatic defect and placing a coated polypropylene mesh over the entire diaphragmatic defect.  The patient did well postoperatively and has not had a recurrence at one month follow up.
