This video demonstrates a novel technique of Endoscopic Per-Oral Pyloromyotomy (POP) for the treatment of gastroparesis. In this procedure the endoscopic submucosal myotomy technique is applied to divide the pyloric sphincter. Our early human experience includes 4 patients and suggests that this technique may provide an alternative endoscopic method of improving gastric emptying in gastroparetic patients.

The video demonstrates the technique, and includes 3 month follow-up endoscopy.
