The Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a General Surgeon with advanced laparoscopic skills to join its Division of General Surgery.
This position will be based at The American Center, UW Health’s new and innovative specialty hospital. The facility will offer superb inpatient and outpatient care in a welcoming, patient- and family-centered environment. Designed to promote healthy communities, UW Health at The American Center also will offer inviting spaces for a varied menu of wellness, fitness and sports performance programs. This is an excellent venue for a physician interested in practicing the full spectrum of general surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of hernias, benign foregut and biliary diseases, and other bread and butter general surgical disorders.
As a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin, this individual will have the support of an academic department with more than 100 colleagues representing all subspecialties of surgery.
