WVU School of Medicine, Department of Surgery is actively recruiting a full-time Bariatric Surgeon to join our expanding program. We are looking for candidates who want to join a thriving academic practice with the opportunity to be a leader in the field. Applicants must be BC/BE in General Surgery with fellowship training and/or significant experience in bariatric surgery.
You’ll join a highly skilled surgical team making an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients across our entire state. There are no hierarchies here. The Bariatric Surgery program at WVU is fully staffed with a full-time surgical coordinator, bariatric psychologist and dietitian. Current surgeries offered are Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass, Adjustable Gastric Banding, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Revisional Surgeries. Our medical director has over ten years of exclusive bariatric experience and is eager for an enthusiastic partner to join the practice.
