Bariatric Medical Director

Job Description


Opportunity exists in southwest, Michigan for a dynamic Bariatric Surgeon. Candidate will be employed with a dynamic multispecialty practice and take on the role as Medical Director for the Bariatric program at local hospital. Candidate will work alongside an established bariatric surgeon, bariatric clinical coordinator and dedicated bariatric dietitian in the movement toward full bariatric surgery Center of Excellence status for the hospital. Call will be shared with two other bariatric surgeons and three general surgeons in the continued growth of bariatric services with a goal of clinical and academic excellence. Current bariatric surgeries include Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, and sleeve gastrostomy surgery. Qualified candidates for this position will be Board Certified and fellowship trained in minimally invasive surgery. The practice offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.
