Bariatric, Foregut and MIS General Surgeon
The Division of Bariatric and Gastrointestinal Surgery, Department of Surgery, at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine is seeking an academically oriented surgeon with or completing fellowship training and interest in Bariatric, Foregut and MIS General Surgery to join our growing faculty at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, non-tenure eligible.
Candidates must be Board-Certified or Eligible and should have strong interest, training and/or track record in clinical, health services, outcomes and/or basic science research; a commitment to education and training and excellent clinical, surgical and interpersonal skills. Current fellows and recent graduates of Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgical Fellowships are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
