The Division of General Surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center invites applications and nominations for positions that will be available in the 2013-2014 academic years for surgeons with fellowship training or special qualifications in bariatric surgery and advanced laparoscopy. Candidates must be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Surgery, and have a record of academic accomplishment in basic or clinical research, systems management, surgical education and/or simulation. Responsibilities will include teaching, clinical and/or basic research and patient care. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
