Academic General Surgeon (with minimally invasive focus)

Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio is actively seeking an academic general surgeon with a minimally invasive focus. Primary responsibilities include ensuring excellent patient care, clinical research initiatives, and undergraduate and graduate surgical education. Opportunities exist for participation in a broad spectrum of acute and elective general surgery. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to expand and develop a minimally invasive service line.

Qualified applicants will be Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery. Minimally invasive fellowship training is required. The applicant must be licensable to practice medicine in Ohio and a candidate for appointment at Wright State University School of Medicine at the assistant to associate professor level. Miami Valley Hospital is a level 1 trauma center with state of the art facilities. Southwestern Ohio is a comfortable and affordable place to live.
