Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio is actively seeking an academic general surgeon. Primary responsibilities include ensuring excellent patient care, clinical research initiatives, and undergraduate and graduate surgical education. Opportunities exist for participation in a broad spectrum of acute and elective general surgery. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to expand and develop a minimally invasive service line.
Qualified applicants will be Board Certified in General Surgery. Minimally invasive fellowship training is desired. The applicant must be licensable to practice medicine in Ohio and a candidate for appointment at Wright State University School of Medicine at the assistant to associate professor level. Miami Valley Hospital is a level 1 trauma center with state of the art facilities. Southwestern Ohio is a comfortable and affordable place to live.
